Sniff, sniff, snuffle, snuffle …

“What’s up Annie?” Eva had hoped Annie was going to take her for a walk but she looked and sounded a bit strange.

“I am feeling a bit under the weather, Eva,” said Annie, although it was hard to talk and breathe with a blocked nose. 

“Why do they call it under the weather, Annie?” 

“I suppose it is because it feels like there is a big heavy cloud just hanging over your head, making you feel all heavy. Under the weather, you see?” Annie explained.

Eva saw, although she couldn’t see a cloud.
